Retail Tomato

Ketchup is a product made from tomato varieties certified for Industrial production, harvested when they are ripe and healthy and delivered directly to the plant to ensure their freshness. Once the quality parameters for fresh tomato have been checked and met, processing begins: the tomatoes are washed, crushed, and heated to deactivate the enzymes, refined, transformed into a concentrated pulp. In the industrial kitchen the remaining ingredients are added to the pulp, before it is heat-treated (pasteurized) to ensure food safety and then packed.

Natural tomato – free of colourings, preservatives and artificial flavourings.

“Passata” is a 100% natural product made from tomato varieties certified for industrial production, harvested when they are ripe and healthy and delivered directly to the plant to ensure their freshness.

In the industrial kitchen the remaining ingredients are added to the sauce, before it is heat-treated (pasteurized) to ensure food safety and then packed.

At the client’s request salt and spices may be added.

Tomato Pulp is a 100% natural product made from tomato varieties certified for industrial production, harvested when they are ripe and healthy and delivered directly to the plant to ensure their freshness.  

Once the quality parameters for fresh tomato have been checked and met, processing begins: the tomatoes are washed, crushed, and heated to deactivate the enzymes, finely refined and transformed into a concentrated pulp.  

The remaining ingredients are added to the pulp in the industrial kitchen, before it is heat-treated (pasteurized) to ensure food safety and then packed.

Once the quality parameters for fresh tomato have been checked and met, processing begins: the tomatoes are washed and peeled, before adding a tomato juice stock that contains citric acid, and calcium may or may not be added, and then the product is packed and pasteurized in an autoclave.
