Crop 14 has been one of the worst on the past 20 years. Late maturation, early rains and huge losses in the fields lead to a lost in production of app 15%

Total Forecasted production: for Crop 15 - 550 MMTS (eq. forecast as Crop 14)

Transplant is starting and weather conditions have been as expected

1st week of February started the seed planting in greenhouse'

3rd week of March (23/3)

Favorable conditions (dry weather) for soil preparation, made with time and quality.

Note: many producers took advantage of these conditions to make improvements to their land through levelling soil works, water lines cleaning and incorporation of organic compost.

Start of the first plantations at week 12 (March 23).
